4th AGM of IAS

We would like to invite all IAS members to attend our 4th AGM 2022 to be held on 30th April 2022. We would also like to receive nomination from our IAS Members to nominate themselves for the various open position on our IAS Board, during the board member's election as a part of our AGM. Please see below for the various open position on the board. Nominations can be sent to Kalaivani (+45 91 72 29 46) or Vijay K (+45 51 80 88 65) by 23rd Apr 2022.

Cancellation of Activities

Since the Kommune has to use the Sønderskov Hallen for the purpose of vaccination, all the bookings on the hall stands cancelled as informed by the Kommune until 2nd January 2022. All activities using this hall therefore is not possible during this period. All volunteers & members registered for the various activities are informed via WhatsApp. Further notice on resumption of the activities will be informed as we receive new information from the kommune.

Update: All Activities of IAS has resumed and all registered members have been informed via their respective WhatsApp groups. In case of any questions, please reach out to the volunteers or board members. 

ANNUAL SPORTS EVENT 2021

CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS 

For our upcoming 75th Indian Independence Day Celebration, IAS is organizing a flag hoisting ceremony, where it would like to encourage participation from the Kids in various cultural activities as listed below:

1. Fancy Dress for Kids (4 to 10 Years).

2. Group Song ( Based on the interest groups can be divided into smaller groups if needed.)

3. Short Skit/ Play 

Registration is mandatory for participation in cultural activities. We request parents to please register with Shanmugam(+4571614570) Kalaivani(+4591722946) or Kanmani(+4571498997).

Rules & Regulations:

1. Entries to the activities will be accepted on a first come first served basis.

2. Only participants from 4 years to 16 years are eligible for registration and is restricted only to registered IAS members.

3. Deadline for registration - 5th August 2021.

4. No request for registrations will be entertained after the stipulated deadline.

5. All contents shall be scrutinised by the IAS board members and no deviation shall be allowed from the contents after approval.

6. Participants (and their parents) are responsible for the contents and any properties needed for the cultural activities.

7. IAS shall provide basic infrastructure and facilitate the activities. For any special requirements(like music instruments, mic arrangement etc) please contact the organiser.

8. IAS reserves the right to cancel or modify the activity/events as necessary.

IAS AGM 2021 held on 29th May 2021

IAS had held its Annual General Meeting on 29th May 2021 in Sønderborg. 

Excerpts from the meeting:

1. Annual Budget and expenses presented.

2. Highlights from various activities conducted in 2020-21.

3. Proposals for various activities for the Year 2021-22.

4. New board members were elected for the board on various roles that was published earlier.

Resuming Various Activities in IAS

Indoor sports for adults are included in the next phase of reopening on May 6th 2021. This means we can restart our weekend badminton session for adults starting 8th May 2021. 

Important points to note

1. Reopening guideline states that there can be a maximum of 25 people for indoor activities. So, we decided to merge G1 and G2 into one group called G1 and they play on Saturday between 18:00 to 20:00. Similarly, G3 and G4 have been merged into a new group G2 and they play on Sunday between 8:00 to 10:00 in the morning. Team details are shared via WhatsApp. 

2. Coronapas is mandatory for adults. It can be either a completed vaccination or a negative Corona test within 72 hours before the start of the play. 

3. Captains and vice-captains to check the coronapas of each player in their group.
